Annebel de Roode
After my graduation internship at Huidzorg West in november 2021, I started as an assistant dermal clinician. In this role I have gathered my first work experience, by supporting the clinic as well as administration tasks. When I graduated in july 2022, I became a fully-fledged dermal clinician. A step that gave me the opportunity to broaden my expertise further and treat patients independently.
"We are becoming more and more conscious about the importance of good (skin) health. "
After a year full of new experiences and growth, I noticed that I needed a new challenge. That is why I decided to follow the master Healthcare Innovation in Utrecht. During this master I will learn how to improve processes in healthcare.
Relatively, skin therapy is a young profession and subject to many (technological) developments. Additionally, our society is also changing: we are becoming older and health is a hot topic nowadays. We are becoming more and more conscious about the importance of good (skin) health.
These developments make the combination of my background as cermal clinician with my new education very valuable. In this way, I try to contribute extra towards the health of our patients besides offering skin- and edema therapy!
