Frequently asked questions about deep oscillation Make an appointmentDue to the vibrations produced by the Deep Oscillation, stationary tissue is brought into motion. Cells in our body have a natural vibration; if they do not move, they die (degeneration). In the event of trauma, this vibration can be disturbed. The Deep Oscillation® ensures that the cell is statically charged. This is generated electrically with an alternating + and – (attract and detract), which brings the cells back to the right vibration. This way, the cell is able to recover faster.
The electrostatic impulses of the Deep Oscillation® create a pleasant, deeply effective vibration in the skin, connective tissue, fatty tissue, muscles, blood and lymph vessels to a depth of 8 cm! The reason the Deep Oscillation® can reach this depth is because it is a body-specific treatment method. The body recognizes the vibration by which the vibration is absorbed instead of repelled.

Deep Oscillation is applied as part of integral oedema therapy. Oedema therapy treatments are subject to a specific regulation. Each health insurance company has a fixed rate for these therapies.
In case of a chronic condition, the first 20 treatments are covered by the additional package; from the 21st treatment, the treatments are covered by the basic health insurance.
If there is no supplementary insurance, the first 20 treatments are at your own expense, after which a claim can be made under the basic insurance.
Should you have already made a claim on your supplementary package or have used up the maximum number of treatments, because you have had other therapies (physio, exercise) for example, the oedema therapy may also be at your own expense.We recommend that you contact your health insurance company as a matter of course.
Deeper tissue structures can be improved by the electrostatic impulses of the Deep Oscillation. This can reduce pain, restrict movement and improve oedema symptoms.
Deep Oscillation does not hurt, but sometimes minimal static shocks can be experienced. Deep Oscillation can be experienced as light tingling, the skin therapist will move the manual probe over the treatment area with rotating movements. No pressure will be applied.
Deep Oscillation can be applied to scars, oedematous areas, fibrosis, bruises and painful areas.
