Wrinkles
Wrinkles, everyone has an opinion about them. We all have to deal with it. Fine lines give our face expression, but over the years these lines become deeper and deeper. For some of us, this is a dreaded change.
Some people get wrinkles faster than others, partly due to genetic predisposition and hormonal changes. In addition, external influences also cause wrinkle formation. The biggest culprit is UV radiation, which causes a decrease in elastin fibres, resulting in sagging skin.
The first lines often become visible from the age of 25, around this age the production of collagen and elastin decreases. Other factors that have a negative influence on wrinkle formation are: smoking, caffeine, sugar, alcohol, stress, little sleep and medication.
