Composition
pH5 citrate buffer: supports the natural pH values of the skin. The protective acid mantle or hydrolipid film covering the surface of the skin is slightly acidic. An average pH value of around 5.4 to 5.9 is important for activating protective enzymes, which regulate the growth of bacteria and support shedding or skin renewal. The barrier function of sensitive skin becomes less acidic, weakening the skin's own barrier function. The pH5 citrate buffer restores and stabilises the skin's own pH value and stimulates the activation of enzymes to protect against irritations.Additional information
